Peter Saunders DipPFS - DGS Chartered Financial Planners

Peter Saunders DipPFS

About me

I am a fully qualified and experienced Independent Financial Adviser specialising in holistic financial planning. I strongly believe in building long-term client relationships, focusing on helping my clients to achieve their financial aspirations over the short, medium and long-term.

The key to my business philosophy is simply to understand the needs and goals of current and future clients. Once these have been established, the process of giving advice becomes very straightforward, clear and concise. Over the years, I have specialised in providing investment advice, but have never lost sight of other key areas, which may require attention, for example, protection, pension shortfalls and Inheritance Tax mitigation. This involves a very thorough and detailed holistic approach to all aspects of financial planning.

My history

I have spent my entire career working in Financial Services but commenced providing Financial Advice in 1989. I have enjoyed a successful career working for some of the most well-known organisations in our industry such as Legal & General, HSBC, Standard Life and Scottish Widows.Prior to joining DGS IFA Ltd, as well as providing ongoing financial advice to my clients, my career involved presenting courses and seminars for large employers within the public and private sectors. These include national and local Government organisations such as the Ministry of Defence, the Metropolitan Police Service, the NHS and the Teaching profession.

I joined DGS Chartered Financial Planners in 2016.
