Sharon Wharton DipFA - DGS Chartered Financial Planners

Sharon Wharton DipFA

About Me

I began the role of Paraplanner in 2000, when the role was first evolving. I believe that a Paraplanner can offer skills in addition to those of the adviser to provide the client with a positive, professional experience.

My History

I joined the Financial Services industry in 1988 as a tele-sales consultant with Norwich Union, leaving in 2000 when the Company became Aviva and many changes were made. I joined a local IFA to support two advisers which eventually grew to a team of nine advisers. I have recently joined DGS IFA Ltd after 16 years in my previous role to explore new challenges and opportunities within a Chartered IFA practice.

My Qualifications

FPC – Financial Planning Certificate

DipFA – Diploma for Financial Advisers

LIBF – Member of London Institute of Banking and Finance.
